The RBS / AV series are rotary three-blade impeller blowers used in vacuum plants as a booster in conjunction with main vacuum pumps. They are used in applications where the final pressure required by the system is lower than 33 mbar absolute. Selected technical parameters: • Vacuum from 0.001 to 20 mbar (a) • Suction capacity from 300 to 9,400 m³/h

RBS / AV blowers are usually used to supplement the main vacuum system based on water ring vacuum pumps (Robuschi RVS series), screw, claw, vane or piston pumps. This type of system usually has a vertical configuration, in which the RBS / AV blower operates as a so-called the booster is on the top and the vacuum pump is on the bottom. Both devices are directly connected to each other. In addition, it is common to find multi-stage systems with two or more RBS / AV high vacuum blowers as required pressure or suction capacity exceeds the maximum values ​​for the entire RBS / AV range.
