Technical transport devices, such as screw and belt conveyors, are designed to work horizontally or inclined, usually up to 35° to the horizontal. Their task is to transport specific loose materials or other transportable materials, e.g. sewage sludge. They can be used as single conveyors or entire lines of interconnected devices.
Screw conveyors are mainly used in agriculture, in the grain and fodder industry for transporting loose materials, but they are also used for the transport of dehydrated sewage sludge and screenings in sewage treatment, transport of sand from clarifiers, lime from silos, etc. The device consists of a pipe or a trough inside which a spiral worm moves, lying on rails or linings made of abrasion-resistant plastic. The worm ribbon is driven by a motor and a gear with an appropriate rotational speed, which can sometimes be regulated. The offer includes shaft and shaftless screw conveyors. It is also possible to design and manufacture the conveyor to suit individual requirements.
Belt conveyors are often used where it is desired to eliminate the effect of material vibration, which may occur when using a screw conveyor. The belt with which we equip our conveyors is resistant to chemical influences and high temperature. Therefore it is suitable for the transport of aggressive and hot materials. The belt conveyor is equipped with a belt self-cleaning system and a drive with an appropriate gear that achieves the appropriate speed for a given case.
